Women activists in Isfahan, hang ‘blood-soaked’ map of Iran over highway

The map of Iran which is the red shape depicted in the middle of the banner hangs over the highway. Three women are seen hanging a banner off a bridge in Isfahan and waving their hijabs in the air as part of ongoing anti-government protests in the country.

The banner reads: “One of us will be next.” The ongoing protests were triggered by the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini, who fell into a coma hours after having her head slammed into the door frame of a van while being forcibly detained by morality police on September 13th for allegedly violating the strict hijab law.
